What is it? |
|
When a bee stings it leaves both its sting and a poison bag in the skin. The poison is not dangerous unless it causes an allergic reaction. Pain is immediate. Swelling inflammation and itching follows. If the sting becomes infected, the victim may become feverish. An allergic reaction will cause severe swelling. In rare cases, there may be anaphylactic shock, with difficulty in breathing, unconsciousness and sometimes even death. See a doctor as soon as possible.
