What is it? |

Most bruises are the result of a fall or blow, which caused bleeding in the tissues under the skin. One can reduce discomfort and the extent of the bruising by applying an ice pack over the bruise. A badly bruised limb should be rested. If bruising appears for no apparent reason see a doctor.
